Robert Rob Murray

Rob left our lives September 14, 2015. He was born on December 16, 1944 in Upland, California. He grew up in Ontario, California and graduated from Chaffey High School and Mt. Sac. Rob has reside in Redlands for the past 37 years. He worked and retired from Verizon. Rob loved life and wanted to live "forever". He loved being outdoors and had a passion for fast cars and boats. He was a man with many dear friends who shared his love for antiques, kayaks and swap meets. In spite of enduring mental illness he never complained and was more concerned about the comfort of others. Rob is survived by his loving wife Robyn, son Ryan, daughter Rachel and brother John and his wife Margi, and children Bob and Laurel. He was a special stepfather to Jennifer and Chad with grandchildren, Connor, Lauren, Blake, Cole and Noah. A service honoring Rob's life will be held on Thursday, September 24 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue in Redlands, followed by a burial at Hillside Memorial Park, also in Redlands.
