Romell P. (Mitchell) Moore

Romell P. (Mitchell) Moore, 59, of San Jacinto, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013. He was born March 22, 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama. Surviving Romel are his 7 children, Johnny Gable, Judith Gable, Desiree Vega, Destiny Moore-Hernandez (Louis Hernandez), Theresa Moore(Kevin Cowen), Jeremiah Moore (Tina Taylor), and Chaya Moore(Verlon Strait); his 11 grandchildren, Shyana Harris, Vincent Hernandez, Johnny Gable Jr., Kaylee Moore, Kameran Cowen, Jeremiah Moore II, Kimora Cowen, Elisha Moore, Verlonna Strait, Luke Hernandez and Selah Moore, Life partner Lydia Moore, brother Kenney Mitchell, sister Lillie E. Moore(Porky) and a and whole slew of adopted children and grandchildren that he took under his wing. Preceding him in death is his father Jerry M. Moore, mother Classies W. Moore and brother Randall Mitchell. He selflessly gave of his time and his heart to anyone that needed him. Even with his health in decline, Romell made sure he was available to his loved-ones and his friends. He enjoyed working on electronics and received a certificate certifying him to do so. He also enjoyed watching television, spending time with his children and grandchildren and collecting different types of colognes. Romell was definitely known to always smell good! Visitation will be at Emerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 05, 2013 from 4pm-7pm. Funeral service will be held at Emerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 06, 2013 at 12:00 pm with Reverend Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA. Emerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel is handling the funeral arrangements. During his life, Romell mentioned some family members who are believed to still reside in Birmingham, Alabama. There was a woman, possibly his adopted mother, named Classies W. Moore his sister who went by the name of "Porky"(Lillie E. Moore)and a brother named Kenny Mithcell and a grandfather (or father) named Jerry M. Moore.
