Ruby Lenora Larson

Ruby Lenora Larson July 1, 1915 January 26, 2011 Born to Gunhild and Carl in Canada on July 1, 1915. She has lived in Yucaipa since 1976. She is predeceased by her husband, Reuben Axel Larson, siblings Evelyn Henry, Chester Knutson, Isabell Trygstad, Arthur Knutson, Florence Lee, Lucille Lesley and grandson Michael Blegstad. She is survived by her younger sister, Alice Barnhart, and children, Jo Ann Larson , Richard Larson and Debora Ivey. Grandchildren are, Steven Blegstad, Kristen Hale, Timothy Larson, Taryn Larson, Sean Edwards and Gisele Osborn. She also has two great grandchildren Donovan and Anaiah. When she was two years old, her family moved from Canada to Tracy, California. At the age of 21, she married her husband Reuben, and they remained married until his death in 1999. Ruby and Reuben owned and operated the Paramount Music Store in Paramount,CA for 10years and co-owned with Arthur and Mary Knutson theWestern Auto in Yucaipa for several years before they retaired. Ruby was an active member of the Mentone Womans Club, loved crafts and card games with her friends from various mobilehome parks. She will be missed by her family and dear friends. Visitation will be held Friday February 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM, with Funeral Services starting at 10:30 held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, California. Burial will be held immediately after the services at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands, California.
