Ryan Daniel Nessi was born on January 29, 1990 at Doctor’s Hospital in Montclair, California, surrounded by his exuberant family, anxiously awaiting his arrival. He only had one place he called home during his life and that was in beautiful Bloomington, California.
Ryan graduated from Bloomington High School in 2008. He attended Riverside City College to begin credits toward a degree in digital media with the hopes of working in that field in some capacity. He was a self-taught artist and his skills were incredible. His favorite things to draw were superheroes that he would illustrate from his creative imagination. These vast notebooks of Ryan’s beautiful creativity will be cherished.
Who was our precious Ryan? He was so much to so many! Ryan had an infectious smile that lit up his face and the faces of everyone who surrounded him. He had many names such as “Rhino” deemed by his Grandpa Jones and “Gentle Giant” from his Great Auntie, but all would agree that he was just a gentle soul with an immeasurable heart!
Ryan loved anything Marvel or DC - but preferred Marvel. Any time there was a new Marvel or DC movie, he had to see it the day it came out; it was non-negotiable. One of his all-time favorite movies was “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and his favorite character was Jack Skellington. He not only enjoyed watching movies, he also liked to critique them and learn every facet about the movies, from actors to directors. He was into Anime’ – whether it be in a book or on-screen. He loved listening to music and enjoyed a wide array of genres such as classical, alternative rock, show tunes, and 40’s hits. The most important thing to Ryan was family and spending time with them was priceless.
Ryan was blessed to have a true, faithful friend who goes by the name “Iggy”. As his Uncle Keith so prophetically said, they were “cosmically connected”. He was not only Ryan’s best friend and confidante, but his brother. If you had been a fly on the wall, you would have listened to the melodious conversations, boisterous laughter, and the random interjections of their voices while playing video games, and then the serious, deep conversations of current affairs or any problems either of them were experiencing.
Ryan unexpectedly left this world on the morning of March 28, 2022. He leaves behind his father, Gus Nessi; his mother, Lori Nessi; his sister and brother-in-law Marcel and Joseph Williams; his grandparents, Raul and Amalia Nessi; his grandma, Tonie Jones; his Great Aunt, Carmen Hynds; his brother, Ignacio “Iggy” Gonzalez; his sister-in-law, Kim Williams; his aunts and uncles, Keith and Jen Jones; Mark and Pauline Cameron; Mike and Jacqui Stephen; Maureen Jones and Jo Evans; his cousins, Josh, Justin, Jacob, Cooper, Alex, Arista, Alessie, and Diego; his beloved dog, Carla, and a host of relatives and friends that will miss him tremendously.
He was greeted in heaven by his angels: his great grandma Nana; his grandpa, Bob Jones; his family friend, Edna; his aunt Carleene Jones; and Joseph’s parents, Sherita and Daryl Williams.
