Salvador Ramos, age 54, devoted partner, uncle, brother and father figure to many, entered into rest on Monday, March 9, 2015 in Fresno, California. Sal was born in Mexicali, Baja California on July 9, 1960 and had since resided in Redlands for the last 53 years until he moved to Fresno a year ago. Sal graduated from Redlands High school in 1979. He then pursued a 20 year profession in auto body and paint with Tom Bell Chevrolet in Redlands and Shaver Auto in San Bernardino. Sal is survived by his significant other, Diane Escobedo, his two sisters, Magdalena R. Tejeda of Redlands and Aliverta Duran of Beaumont, his eleven nieces and nephews, Sylvia Ruiz of Banning, Elba Tejeda of Redlands, Laura Tejeda of Pensacola, Florida, Socorro T. Rodriguez of Mentone, Rebeca Tejeda of Redlands, California, Juan M. Duran of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lupe Duran of Beaumont, Lourdes Reyes of Beaumont, Baltazar E. Vargas of Redlands, Cesar Vargas of Redlands and Diane R. Vargas of Redlands, and his sixteen great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held for Sal on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00AM at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, California 92373.
