Samuel Joseph Schobel

Samuel Joseph Schobel, age 59, passed away February 21, 2010 at his home in Redlands, CA. He was born August 6, 1950 in Lorraine, Ohio. He graduated from Luzinger High School on Los Angeles, CA. Samuel served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and he went on to work at the Veteran s Hospital in Loma Linda for 27 years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Antoinette Marie Schobel. Samuel is survived by his daughters, Yolanda Yanez (George) of Redlands, CA; Angela Campbell, Laura (Jesse) Sillas and Alissa Schobel (Adam) all of Mesquita, Texas; brother, Stephen Schobel; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA, with an hour viewing prior to the service. Burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA where he will have military honors.
