Sandra Yedwalsky was born Dec 18, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa from parents Reed Allen Freeman and Eleanor Martha Freeman. At the Age of two she was adopted by William T. Foulkers and Frida Foulkers and was welcomed by her two older sisters Irene and Arlene. After graduating Wyoming High School In Wyoming, Iowa her biological brother Bob Freeman invited her to move to CA where she met her first husband, Frank Bustamante. In 1960 her daughter Jackie Bustamante was born. In 1964 Sandy and Frank divorced but remained friends for life. In 1968 Sandy married her second husband Harvey Yedwalsky and her son Martin Yedwalsky was born in 1969. She remained married to Harvey 48 years until her death on June 11, 2016.
During her life Sandy worked for the telephone company as an operator and later worked 26 years in child development as a preschool teacher. She also earned an AA degree at EL Camino College and continued to take college courses throughout her carrier in child development .
Sandy is survived by her husband Harvey Yedwalsky, Brother Bob Freeman, daughter Jackie Bustamante, son Martin Yedwalsky, five grandchildren, and many cousins, nephews and nieces in CA and Iowa.
