Scott Loane Skelton, 64 died at home on June 06, 2014 with his loving wife, Dorothy. Scott was born September 03, 1949 in San Jose to Miles A. & Dorothy Jean Skelton, the 3rd of 4 siblings. Scott worked in the retail business in Yucaipa, Hemet & Redlands until he convinced his wife to hire him as an escrow officer. Scott learned quickly & became the best in mobile home & refinances. Scott worked with his wife at Redlands Escrow until he was forced to retire due to extreme illness 9 years ago. Against the odds, Scott lived to see his children marry & have grandchildren. Scot is survived by his wife, Dorothy D. Skelton of Yucaipa, beloved mother, Dorothy Jean Skelton of Fresno, son & wife, Kevin & Nancy Skelton of Tustin, daughter & son-in-law, Alyssa & Charlie Brionez of Florida, Step Daughter & husband, Debbie & Andy Reade of Yucaipa, Step Son & daughter in law, David & Sharlene Simon of Yucaipa, 3 brothers, Rich of Washington, Terry of Fresno, Kim of Montana, 8 grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. Scott is predeceased by his father, Miles A. Skelton of Skelton s Hallmark in Redlands. Scott could fix & create anything, loved woodworking and helping others. Scott loved to talk to his Mom & share the current sports especially the Lakers. Scott attended First Baptist Church of Yucaipa when possible and watched many church services on TV. Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 27, 201 at 11:00 am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel at 35208 Yucaipa Blvd. in Yucaipa. Luncheon following at El Dorado Palms Mobile Home Park Clubhouse at 35218 Fir Avenue, Yucaipa. Everyone is invited to attend. If friends & neighbors wish to donate, the family will be donating to the Lung & Heart Foundation and Redlands Community Hospital Home Nursing Care in Scott s memory.
