Shirley A. Taylor a long time resident of the Yucaipa area, died Tuesday the 10thof December, 2019 at Redlands Community Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born November 26, 1938 in Beadle CO., South Dakota to James and Stella (OHara) Bayles. She received her education in Yale, SD. In September 1955 she married Jerome D. Kleinsasser near Huron, SD., where they had their 3 children.
In 1984 she moved to California. She married John Ekwall in 1986. He passed in 1994. In March 2006 she married Ray Taylor.
Shirley was a people person. She enjoyed time with family and friends. She liked playing cards, gardening, cooking, watching sports (especially her Minnesota Vikings).
She is survived by her husband Ray Taylor, children, Rhonda (Frank) Kristner of Cabazon, CA., Russ (Laurie) Kleinsasser of Huron, SD., Randy (Sheri) Kleinsasser of Brookings, SD., grandchildren, Kyleigh (John) Cramer of Brookings, SD., Brittany (Chris Gerry) Kleinsasser of Brookings, SD., Jamison (Casandra) Kleinsasser of Harrisburg, SD., Kenzie Kleinsasser of Huron, SD., and Crystine Kistner of Cabazon, CA. Great grandchildren, Emerson Callista, Oaklee, Kaden, and Vincent. Sisters, Sharon Stanfield of San Bernardino, CA., and Lola (Ron) Saban of Riverton, WY. Sister in law, Sally Bayles of Watertown, SD.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Ekwall. Brothers, Russell Bayles, James (Jimmy) Bayless, and sister, Carol Forney.
