Steven Daniel Grenier, born October 26, 1969, age 52, passed away on September 27, 2022, in Yucaipa California.
Steve was an extremely passionate Dallas Cowboys fan! Of greater significance, Steve was generous beyond his means and would seek opportunity to come to aid with somebody down on their luck.
Steve was a proud father of two (Avery and Devin) and stepfather to Christine, who he raised as his own daughter. His face would brighten as he shared their latest accomplishments and exploits. Steve will dearly be missed, and not forgotten, by those that loved him.
Steve was born in Walnut Creek, CA, and grew up in Concord. He attended Mt. Diablo High School, before attending Diablo Valley College. Later he relocated to Redlands, California, where he met and married his wife of 18 years, Kelly Chandler, who is the mother of his children. In 1999, Steve started his career with United Parcel Service (UPS), and worked his way to Driver, and was a popular figure in the downtown district. Redlands became home for Steve, making many friends along his route delivering packages to all.
His mother, Norma, introduced Steve to a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, which shaped his will to provide for his family and 23-years with UPS. His Father, Ron, introduced Steve to outside adventures such as hunting, camping, and fishing, to name a few. He provided some of his best experiences and recollections a father could share with a son. The merging of these two amazing attributes created a one-of-a-kind gentleman and a doting, loving father that will be sorely missed.
Steve is survived by Mother Norma Grenier-Wise of Yucaipa, CA, and Father Ronald Grenier of Rio Vista, CA, Son Devin Grenier, Daughter Avery Grenier, Step-daughter Christine Brians, Brother Wayne Womack,
Brother Michael Grenier, Sister Brenda Grenier, Sister Stephanie Grenier, Mother of his children Kelly Chandler, Niece Lauren Womack, Step nephew Tyler Swanson, Step nephew Preston Pischke, step-niece Brittney Swanson, and his loving Sisters-in-Law: Leslie Stenstrop, Shelly Merideth, and Jonie Holland!
Steve is preceded in death by his older Brother Scott Womack, Nephews Justin, and Sheldon Womack.
