Sylvia May Corrigan

Sylvia M. Corrigan, 76, of Redlands passed away at home on Tuesday, November 15. She was born in Three Brother s, Arkansas. Her family moved to California when she was 10. She lived in Redlands for 66 years. She graduated from Redlands High School in 1954. She worked at Loma Linda University Medical Center for 22 years. She retired at 73. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, going to the movies and taking her great granddaughter s to the park. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Corrigan of Redlands; grandchildren: Mike and Allyson Moore, of Redlands; Stephen Castaneda of Redlands; Geoff and Sheena Cathey of Temecula; Great-grandchildren: Grace and Olivia Moore of Redlands; Charlotte Cathey of Temecula; two sisters, Fran Golding of Costa Mesa and Mary Gross of Yucaipa. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Corrigan. Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
