Theodora Teddy Wearn-Flett

Theodora ( Teddy) Wearn Flett , 89 died July 11, 2014 at her home in Redlands CA, with her family by her side. Arrangements are with Emmerson Barttlet Memorial Chapel in Redlands. Viewing be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014, from 5-8PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 25,2014 11AM with burial to follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA. Teddy was born February 24, 1925, in Wichita , Kansas to Craig and Harriett Kennedy Sr. She graduated from Wichita East High School in 1942. She moved to Redlands, in 1962 with her husband Jack Stanley Wearn and her sons Marc, Mike and daughter Lindy. She resumed her teaching career and received her BA. In 1966 after 18 years and 3 children she continued her studies and received her Masters degree in Education. She taught 5th and 6th grades in Redlands. In 1966 She began teaching middle school in Yucaipa, CA where she taught for 27 years before retiring. Teddy taught speech,drama, and world geography. She married Wayne G Flett in 1991. Her interest include family, square dancing and travel. Teddy is survived by brother Garth Kennedy, her son Marc Wearn, and spouse Dolly Wearn, daughter Lindy Russell and significant other Gene Nichols, granddaughter Ondrea Wearn, grandsons Jack and Alec Russell, great grandson, Joel Wearn and great granddaughters Emilee Powers and Kennedie Russell.
