Thomas E. Valko joined his beloved daughter Theresa in heaven on Thursday, July 19, 2012. Tommy was born on March 27, 1932, in Brownsville, PA. He moved to California in 1937 and has been settled in Yucaipa for twenty-eight years. At the age of seventeen Tommy proudly joined the U.S. Army, and received an honorable discharge after being wounded in action in the Korea War. Tommy enjoyed the great outdoors especially camping and fishing with family and friends. Tommy is survived by his wife, Phyllis, his two children, Doug and Donna, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is a great husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. John 14:27 Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26th, 2012, from 10:30 to 11:30am with a Funeral Service at 11:30am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA with burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA Family under the care of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa, CA.
