Ventura F. Quesada was born in Redlands, California on January 19, 1935, and passed away January 31, 2016 at Redlands Community Hospital. He was a life-long resident of San Bernardino who, after 32 years, retired from the United States Forest Service as a contracting officer. Ventura was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by two brothers, Albert Quesada of Colton and Romaldo Quesada on Riverside, and one sister, Josie Stutz of Highland. Ventura is preceded in death by his wife Victoria. He is also survived by his son Phillip, and two daughters, Marie (Mike Dominguez) of San Bernardino and Annette (Tom Hernandez) of Loma Linda. He leaves behind eight grandchildren, Adam and Matthew of Loma Linda, Elizabeth (Sean Sanchez) of Highland, Anthony Sanchez of Highland, Robert (Ashleigh Sanchez) of Beaumont, and Daniel, Andrew and Timothy Hernandez of Loma Linda. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Tina, Angelina and S.J. Sanchez of Highland, and Bentleigh Sanchez of Beaumont, along with his extended family; the Vera family. Services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, California. Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park immediately following the service.
