William “Bill” Rogers Muth went to live in heaven with both of his parents and his sister on February 27, 2016.
He was born October 5, 1939 to William and Anna Muth in Louisville, Kentucky.
He joined the army and served two terms until he was honorably discharged in 1966. He then worked for Union Pacific for 34 years until he retired.
He never married nor had any children because Bill was a firm believer that God’s plan for him was to care for his parents, which he did until they passed.
Bill carried his love of trains for many years to come and he remained in contact with many of his friends from Union Pacific. He was an avid collector of just about anything he could get his hands on but, his most prized possessions were insulators and baseball cards. He was a Dodgers, Broncos and Kentucky Wildcat fan.
Bill has been a member of several Southern Baptist churches in his lifetime. In each one he was a faithful worker and always enjoyed singing in the church choirs. Bill has been a member of Bryant Street Baptist Church since the late nineties. There he enjoyed helping others as a part of the Grief Share program.
Bill is survived by his two adoring nephews Rob (Vanessa) Gilmore of Yucaipa and Mike (Monica) of Escondido and their loving families.
